State Governors Advised To Toll The Path of Anambra And Cross River State Governors by AINA JIDE

As we approach the Xmas Season. The Executive Governor of Cross River State Sen. Ben Ayade in order to checkmate the strains occasioned by a hike in prices of commodities during Xmas, workers in Cross River State, are now smiling as the State Governor, Senator Ben Ayade on November 30 2017, gave an order to the commencement of the payment of December Salaries for the state’s worker’s.
A statement issued in Calabar on Thursday by the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Media, Mr. Christian Ita. Stated that the early payment of December salaries was meant to enable workers in the state make their Xmas purchases before the usual hike in prices of commodities that occasions the Christian festival.
This, according to the statement, is a strategy to ensure value for money and effective utilization of income.
“Although the last time the state got Federal Allocation was way back in October, The workers-friendly Governor decided to pay December salaries early as a show of his underlying love for the workers”

It will be recalled that in the last Gubernatorial election in Anambra State. The Executive Governor of Anambra State Willie Obiano won his reelection with the fact that he doesn’t owe worker’s their salaries.
I belief that if other state Governors toll this path they will gain the masses support.
