The Power Tussle in Awka by Ifeanyi D. Uba

Awka was on standstill yesterday and the prodigious crowd that welcomed President Buhari awed me. Never knew APC had such huge fans in Anambra, even the turnout in Ebonyi state too was appalling.

I was fortunate to witness the president’s visit in Awka even close enough to take pictures of him. Not minding the helicopters hovering in the sky and the security forces around him when going back to his chopper after his campaign for Dr. Nwoye. I even imagined myself in his chopper.#winks
About Ojukwu jnr’s defection to APC, I’ve read and heard people talk about their own opinions. Well, I’m not surprised for it is the season of CHANGE.

                       Dr. Nwoye

Chief Victor Oye should apologize to Ojukwu for calling him a prodigal son. Aren’t we in Nigeria, where most of the politicians are political harlots?
APGA hasn’t really done well or even regarded the late warlord and the founder of the party after his demise.

                           Ojukwu Jnr

Don’t know if they were carried away or were distracted. His hometown and his families were totally forgotten and I wonder why the party kept using his picture only for campaigns during election and after that they zoom zoom.
It’s good the first son woke up from his slumber and I wouldn’t dare to tell him ‘Good morning!’. He’s taken a good step but my fears now is, is he on the right path?
